Set within the rolling hills of the Chilterns, this is a house defined by its views—across the Thames to the south and towards grazing pastures to the north. The character and contours of the surrounding landscape are woven directly into the garden’s design.

Inspired by the meandering course of the river, the garden unfolds as a journey. Curving paths lead through immersive planting, across rills and into secluded glades. Quiet places for rest and reflection provide moments to pause and appreciate the sights, scents and sounds of the garden landscape.
